Cinnamon Sugar Air Fryer Donuts – Made From Canned Biscuits!
Looking for an easy way to make some fresh donuts? These cinnamon sugar air fryer donuts are about as easy as they come!
Cinnamon Sugar Air Fryer Donuts
Made From Canned Biscuits
One of the things that make these air fryer donuts so easy to make is that we used canned biscuit dough to make them.
We used the smaller biscuits that come 10 to a can. If you are wanting larger donuts, you could use the jumbo-sized biscuits. However, you may need to adjust the cooking time for an extra minute or so to allow for more cooking with larger donuts.

How To Make This Air Fryer Recipe:
Lay biscuits on a plate or cutting board.
Use a small cookie or dough cutter to remove the center of the biscuits. I used the smallest size of a set like these.
Take two of the dough center cuttings and roll them together to form a ball. These will be baked right along with the donuts to make donut holes. I found cooking them as just the singles they turn out a little too hard but two pieces together work well.
Place biscuits and holes on the air fryer tray or basket. Make sure they will not touch even as they rise. You may have to cook in batches depending on how larger your air fryer is.
Cook at 350 for 3 minutes flipping them over about halfway through the cooking time.
While cooking mix cinnamon and sugar together in a small dish.
When done, remove from air fryer.
Using a pastry brush, lightly brush the donuts with melted butter. Be sure to coat both sides.
Then roll each donut in the cinnamon and sugar mix until they are fully coated. Repeat the same with the donut holes.
Serve right away. If not fully consumed, I would say these would need to be stored in an airtight container in the fridge because they do have butter brushed on the dough. We just never have any left so I have not had to worry about storing.
