Scrap fabric or old washcloths
Can you believe that’s it? You are only two ingredients away from making your own dryer sheets. How easy is that?
DIY Dryer Sheets Directions:
1. Cut your scrap fabric into 8×8 squares OR use old washcloths.
2. Pour two cups of fabric softener into a shallow dish.
3. Place the fabric into the dish and press them down so they are saturated. Allow them to sit for 15 minutes so they can full soak up as much of the liquid fabric softener as possible.
4. Now, find a warm and sunny spot to dry your cloths. You can hang them outside to dry or place them in a sunny window.
5. Once the cloths are totally dry, they are now ready for use.
To use your dryer sheets, all you need to do is toss your dry cloth into the dryer just as you would a dryer sheet. You should be able to get at least 4-6 uses out of each one before you repeat the process and start over again.
