Gluten Free Bread Recipe!
If you are gluten free, you know how hard it can be to find good bread. So I thought I would share my recipe for Gluten free bread. This bread turns out light and moist just like real wheat bread. It has a light nutty flavor. So if you are tired of eating dry stale gluten free bread give this a try, I think you will like it! Let me know what you think.
Gluten Free Bread
Ingredients:
1 cup Corn Starch
2/4 cup Flaxseed meal
2/4 cup Brown rice flour
2/4 cup Sorghum flour
2 tsp Baking Soda
2 tbsp Splenda
1 ½ tsp Xanthan gum
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp & 1tsp quick rise yeast
2 tbsp Maple Syrup
1 ½ cups Water
1 Egg
2 tbsp Oil
2 tsp Vinegar
Directions:
Heat water in microwave for 1 min. Mix syrup and yeast in water and set aside.
Mix egg, oil and vinegar in small bowl and set aside. (If they are cold set the mixed bowl in bowl of warm water) Mix first 8 ingredients in gallon size Ziploc bag and shake. In a large bowl mix everything together and beat with a mixer for about 2 to 3 min.
Grease a 5×9 bread pan and scrap dough/batter into pan. Lay a piece of plastic warp over and set in a warm place for 45 min or so it should be about ¼ inch from top of pan. Heat oven to 335° when oven is heated put pan in oven and bake for 55 min. It should be brown and sound hallow when you tap on it. Take out of pan and put on a rack let cool. Enjoy your gluten free bread!
