Recipe For Gluten Free Banana Oatmeal Cookies, Yummy!
Here is another yummy gluten free recipe for all my gluten free readers out there. If you like bananas then you will love this recipe. It is also an easy recipe to make, so even the kiddos can join in on the fun. It only takes about 25 minutes from start to finish to make them. I love it when they are that fast and I can eat them right away! Let me know what you think of them.
Gluten Free Recipe, Banana Oatmeal Cookies
Cost $3.00 to make
Makes apx. 4 dz.
Prep time 10 min.
Bake time 12-15 min.
Pre-heat oven to 350°
What You Need:
¾ cup shorting
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup tapioca starch
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup raisins or G.F. chocolate chips or ½ cup gogi berries
1 cup chopped walnuts (opt)
3 cups gluten free quick oatmeal
1 cup mashed bananas
How To Make It:
Mix all ingredients together, one at a time.
Drop dough by 1” balls-1”apart onto greased cookie sheet
Bake for 12-15 min. until done.
Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wire racks.
Store in tightly covered container after mostly cool. By putting them in a container when they are mostly cool and not completely cool, it will allow them to be soft baked cookies.
