Easy Instant Pot Orange Cake
This Instant Pot orange cake is about as easy as they come! It is made using a box mix with a homemade orange glaze topping.
Easy Instant Pot Orange Cake
This orange cake was made in an Instant Pot but could be made in any other electric pressure cooker you have. However, if you are looking to get one and can’t decide, I personally recommend the Instant Pot.

How To Make This Cake:
Start by greasing a 7-inch cake pan.
Then add 1 cup of water to the inner pot of the Instant Pot.
In a large mixing bowl, beat cake mix, water, oil and eggs until fully mixed.
Dump batter into the greased cake pan.
Cover the top of the pan with foil.
Place the cake pan on the trivet inside the Instant Pot. Or you can also use a sling.
Press the “Cake” button on the Instant Pot then set the mode to “Less”. Adjust the cooking time to 50 minutes.
When it beeps that it is done, allow it to release the pressure naturally.
Making The Glaze:
Using a whisk, mix the powdered sugar and milk until it is to the consistency you would like.
Then add the zest and mix well.
Slowly pour the glaze over top of the cooled cake. Then let it set until the glaze hardens.

- 1 Box Orange Cake Mix
- 1/3 Cup Oil I like Avocado Oil
- 3 Eggs
- 1 Cup Water
Glaze:
- 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
- Zest From 1 Orange
- 3-4 Tbsp Milk
Water For Pot:
- 1 Cup Water for the Instant Pot
Instructions
