Jewelry Cleaner DIY
Lately, I’ve noticed some of my silver rings starting to tarnish. One even started turning not long after I bought it.

I don’t have any ready-made cleaner, and I didn’t want to take them to a jeweler. If any of you are in the same boat as me, check out this homemade jewelry cleaner diy, which is super easy to make! And, it uses items you probably already have at home, which makes it way more economical than taking your jewelry somewhere to be cleaned.

Jewelry Cleaner DIY

Here’s what you need:

  • 1 Cup Hot Water
  • 1 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Dish Detergent
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Soda
  • Paper Towel
  • Aluminum Foil

How to make Jewelry Cleaner DIY:

1. Place aluminum foil in a bowl, and then add all the other ingredients aside form the paper towels.
2. Then Place jewelry on top of foil and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. If you still have any tarnish on there you can use a soft toothbrush (like for babies) to do a little light scrubbing.
3. Rinse with clean water and dry with a paper towel.
