Easy Air Fryer Pita Chips

Nothing like the taste of a hot pit chip dipped in some hummus. You can whip up a batch of air fryer pita chips in just a few minutes.

These are made using pre-made pita bread. We simply flavored them with a little oil and salt. But if you are looking for a little more flavor, you could also sprinkle with a little onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, or seasoning of choice.

We cut these into a triangle shape but you could cut them into any shape that you want.

Keep in mind that while I share how we made these chips, air fryers can vary slightly. So be sure to keep an eye on them when you make your first batch. You may need to adjust the time to a little more or less depending on your air fryer.

Brush pita pieces with oil

Use a brush to lightly coat each piece with oil. Or use cooking spray. Coat in oil on both sides, sprinkle with salt.

Place the basket/tray in the air fryer and cook for about 4 minutes.

Then flip the chips and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes. Watch the first batch carefully and adjust cooking times if needed as every air fryer cooks slightly differently.
